The new smartphone was announced in March, two months after the launch of the Infinix Hot 7. The new smartphone comes in with a similar design and displays like that of its predecessors. Despite arriving with a similar design, the new smartphone still ships in with interesting features and upgrades that really qualifies the new device as an advanced version of its predecessor.
Some of the obvious and notable upgrades that the smartphone arrives with includes the latest Operating System (Android 9 Pie), and the smartphone now supports 4G LTE connectivity and other upgrades.

Infinix Hot 7 Pro Design & Display
Like we mentioned earlier, the new smartphone shares similar display and design language with its predecessor and you can hardly differentiate both smartphones from a distance. When it comes to the design, nothing really changed here, on the back of the smartphone you will find the dual camera sensors and the powerful LED flash beneath it.
Still, on the back of the smartphone, you will find the responsive fingerprint scanner and the name of the company below the fingerprint scanner.
On the front of the Infinix Hot 7 Pro, you will still find the same large 6.2 inches display just like the one on the original Infinix Hot 7 Pro. The new smartphone boast of an 85.6% screen-to-body ratio as a result of the slim bezels and small chin. On the top of the screen sits Infinix ancestral notch which holds the single selfie camera, LED flash, and earpiece.
The screen of the smartphone has a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels, and an 18:9 ratio (~260 ppi density). On top of the device, you will find the 3.5mm jack and other things in their normal positions. There are different beautiful color options which the smartphone arrives with, such as the Midnight Black, Bordeaux Red, Mocha Brown, and Aqua Blue.

When it comes t0 the camera offerings, the new smartphone didn’t introduce much new stuff. On the back of the smartphone where the dual camera lie, you still have the same 13-MegaPixel with an f/2.0 aperture, with the second 2MP depth sensor camera.
The cameras offer quite a number of decent and well-detailed images and arrive with interesting features like dual-LED flash for brighter images even in low light conditions, Phase detection autofocus (PDAF). The smartphone can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps and many other interesting features.

Powering the Infinix Hot 7 Pro are two different kinds of processors which comprise of the MediaTek MT6757T Helio P25 (16 nm) which runs the affairs of the Infinix Hot 7 Pro with 2 GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is also the Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 (12 nm) which is found in the new device with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage or the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage option.
The first processor uses the Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU, while the second processor uses the Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53. When it comes to the graphics performance, the first processor uses the Mali-T880MP2, while the second uses the PowerVR GE8320.
If you feel the storage option the phone comes along with is not enough, you can further expand the memory space of the device up to 128GB using a microSD card.
Network Connectivity & Battery life
One of the major obvious upgrades on the Infinix Hot 7 Pro is the 4G LTE connectivity which it features. There are other connectivity and networks like GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, micro USB port for charging & transferring files and the 3.5-millimeter jack.
